You booked your Brazilian Wax appointment, and you forgot it lines up perfectly with that “time of the month.” One of the most common concerns about any waxing service, especially a Brazilian Wax, is if it’s safe to get waxed during your period.
Is it Safe to Wax During Your Period?
Yes, it is completely safe to wax during your period! There is a chance the service will feel more painful due to the fluctuation of hormones and the inflammation of skin, so that is something to consider before booking an appointment. Be sure to let your Esthetician know before beginning your wax appointment. It is also better and safer for your Esthetician for you to wear a tampon or menstrual cup instead of a pad during a wax appointment to minimize the possibility of blood exposure.
