Trust the Process
Trust in your Esthetician and trust in the process! Chances are, your skincare goals aren’t going to happen overnight- and that’s okay! Have patience and trust in the process. Make a plan with your Esthetician that fits you and your lifestyle so you can be successful with your skincare goals! If you are more of a 3-step process person than a 12-step, make sure your Esthetician knows so you can work together!
Keep Your Skin Hydrated
Keep hydration in mind. Hydration is so important to our bodies, our hair and skin are included in that! Hydrated skin is smooth, radiant, and has an even tone. Switching to products that help lock in hydration and drinking enough water is vital. In Idaho, we live in such a dry climate that we especially need the added hydration implemented in our skincare routine so our skin doesn’t get dehydrated. Dehydrated skin can look flaky, dull, and dry. If you are experiencing those things, you know it’s time to up the hydration!
Simplify Your Routine
Finally, remember, skincare doesn’t need to be complicated! Start with the basics! Do you need a new cleanser that is more specific to your goals? What about a moisturizer? After you have those few steps down we can look into adding more. Sometimes, skin concerns come from our routine being too complicated or not using the right products. What’s trendy isn’t always what is best for YOUR skin. When choosing products, we look at your age, lifestyle, and preferences to fine-tune your skincare routine to you!
